Our Family Story –
A HISTORY OF SERVING SENIORS
OUR FAMILY – THE FOX FAMILY – specializes in caring for the elderly. Our expertise dates back to 1952. We maintain a solid reputation within the local community and the broader senior living community. We are known for providing excellent health care services and senior living accommodations that truly meet the needs of older adults.
We first entered into the senior health care field in 1952 with the establishment of the Fox Nursing Home, located in downtown Chester, West Virginia. It remained at that location until its replacement was built in 1985 at its current site overlooking Chester. In 1997, we opened Foxcrest, adding assisted living services to the already existing skilled nursing and rehabilitation services. With the enhancements and additions to the facility, The Orchards at Foxcrest now offers a full continuum of care.
Our mission is to provide a continuum of holistic care choices for the seniors we serve. We strive to do so in a family-style manner that enhances quality of life. We consider ourselves
stewards and guardians of all we serve.
Our philosophy is to treat residents, visitors, volunteers, employees, and members of the greater local community with respect, dignity, and love. We also treat all individuals with a sense of open-mindedness, generosity, and outreach. We take pride in the Fox name, accomplishments, and our record of success.
